    anything. Mt.Baker, the close by ski mountain has 8 ski lifts and gets covered by 54 feet of beautiful snow annually on its 38 ski runs. The height difference is 1,500 feet at Mt.Baker. Mt.Baker has 1,000 acres of terrain; 31% of
 the ski runs are demanding while 69% are intermediate or beginner. Mt.Baker has pleasant ski runs to suit any ability. There's a great class V run of whitewater close by on Nooksack River - North Fork, the 4-mile-in-length Mt. Baker Wilderness to Nooksack Falls sector. This sector of Nooksack River - North Fork is well suited for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater boating for a bit. Check restrictions before you go on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt.Baker, and close by you find Welcome Pass which is a good location to stop at. That right there is plenty of fun things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all.  
A lake close by is Damfino Lakes; a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Rockport State Park. This campground is so great.
