The 635 acres of skiing land at White Pass is esteemed by skiers from far and near. White
 Pass has 33% hard runs and 67% green and blue runs. 6 ski lifts move skiers up the slope, so they can enjoy the 32 runs of the close by ski mountain, White Pass. White Pass has a drop from top to bottom of 1,500 feet and boasts 29 feet of beautiful snow yearly. Nearby you come across the Goat Creek to FR 2160 section, a type V stretch of whitewater. It's a great 4-mile-in-length stretch on Cispus River. Only those experienced in whitewater rafting or kayaking should endeavor to run this stretch of Cispus River. For your protection you have to always check conditions ahead of going whitewater rafting or kayaking. A great 18.6-mile-long great outdoors hiking trail with a great 2,458-foot  
variation in height can be encountered in the vicinity. This is the Lily Basin Trail; it's a lovely backcountry walk. You have to set aside two and a half days to backcountry walk the difficult Lily Basin Trail.
