 delightful selection. 54 feet of beautiful snow fall per year on the 38 slopes of Mt.Baker. This nearby ski hill has an elevation difference of 1,500 feet and has 8 different ski lifts. Mt.Baker is a pleasant ski hill with 1,000 acres of skiing territory. 31% of the slopes are expert and advanced and 69% are beginner and intermediate. Jackman River has a grade IV-V stretch of whitewater close by. The 5-mile-from-start-to-finish mile 6 to mile 1 sector is good to run. This sector of Jackman River is suggested for proficient paddlers solely. Whitewater rapids are hazardous occurrences, so you have to check conditions before you go. Going for a trek beats anything; the 6.2-mile-in-distance Finney  
Peak Trail is nearby; it has a difference in height of 2,658 feet. Finney Peak Trail is a demanding one day of backpacking.
