A lot of folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being close to Rockport State Park. It's really unhealthy to be inside all the time; you've gotta get out from time to time, and Maple Grove in Washington is the outdoors at its finest. Maple Grove is an old favorite with visitors from Concrete.
The personnel who's always there to help out and loads of fun stuff to do beat anything. Such a pleasant selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.

This campground
 
    is one of the great sites to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. Among the things you can do in close proximity to Maple Grove are swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of amusing stuff to do wonít
 happen. There's a magnificent 1,500-foot elevation difference to enjoy at the close by ski mountain Mt.Baker. Mt.Baker receives 54 feet of fluffy snow per winter, and has 8 good ski lifts serving the 38 runs. 69% of the 1,000 acres of skiing territory at Mt.Baker is easy, magnificent for young ones and novices. 31% of the runs on the other hand are challenging and magnificent for expert skiers. The 5-mile-in-length mile 6 to mile 1 portion is a type IV-V portion of whitewater on Jackman River. Donít depend on staying dry whitewater paddling this bit of Jackman River. Don't ignore to check circumstances in advance of a trip whitewater paddling to guarantee your safety. A delightful trail nearby  
is Finney Peak Trail; it's 6.2 miles long and has a variation in height of 2,658 feet. When you're trekking the challenging Finney Peak Trail you should schedule in the region of one day for the backcountry hike.
