 Mackinaw is an old favorite with people from Lyman. The staff who's always there to assist and the fine quality of everything here have folks coming from near and far. If you are in Utah during camping season, you have to go camping.
While you're here at Mackinaw, you could also explore beautiful Fish Lake; some of the water close by flows, like Twin Creek. Going to Otter Creek State Park close to Mackinaw is a tremendous thing to do, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail. This campground is always a bliss. A trip to Fishlake National Forest when you're here at Mackinaw is a perfect idea, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Great
Western Trail. Pelican Canyon is in close proximity to Mackinaw and is a good site, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Jackson Dugway.
