Strawberry Knolls is clearly visible from Uinta Flat; Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is a good site to
 go to on a wonderful day. Take a little trip to Billingsly Creek if you're here at Uinta Flat; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Brian Head. The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer. While you're here at Uinta Flat you can take a hike along the Alpine Pond Trail; Road Canyon is a glorious location to spend some time. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Spruce Trail, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Alton for sure. So much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Uinta Flat, truly striking. On a splendid day at Uinta Flat you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail, and there are other spots  
here than Uinta Flat, for example Navajo Lake. Uinta Flat is usually a rather dehydrated site. The wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; June on the other hand is the driest.
