Some activities here at Carter Creek Camp are hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's totally impossible to get bored. It's not good for you to spend all your time indoors; you have to get out from time to time, and

Lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Scow Lake near Carter Creek Camp; a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Ashley National Forest. So much exciting stuff in the Uinta Mountains, just amazing. There's great hiking along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and if you're visiting from Evanston, you won't be the only one. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Good hiking is available along the Highline Trail; the top of Deadman Mountain is easily spotted from Carter Creek Camp. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lofty Lake Trail, and getting to Carter Creek from Carter Creek Camp
 
is painless. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Carter Creek Camp. The Skinner Cutoff Trail offers hiking at its best; you can go for a hike on the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail.
