Go for a hike on the Whiteman Connecting Trail, and head out on the picturesque water at Otter Creek RV and Marina. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Virgin River will keep you coming back many times. There is a good hiking trail near Virgin River called the Swamp Canyon Connecting Trail, and folks from Bryce love to come here. A visit to Kodachrome Basin State Park when you're here at Virgin River is never a bad idea. Virgin River gets very little rain. August  
is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summertime at Virgin River highs are commonly in the 80's.
