There are of course restrooms at this campground. There are so many entertaining things to do near Big Springs; you always have a fine time when you're here. The accommodating operators of the campground and all the fun things are motive enough to come here.
Everybody should go for a weekend of camping now and then; Big Springs in Oregon is a really fine place to spend some time.
If you love the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun things. Big Springs is one of the sites to camp here in the Blue Mountains.
 
    A lot of folks stay at Big Springs for the purpose of being in close proximity to Cline Falls State Park.
All our national parks are pleasant sites to go to, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception. Little Summit
 Creek is near Big Springs and is always a bliss to stop at. There's fine hiking along the Owl Creek Trail, and a nice swamp close to Big Springs is Timothy Meadow. This campground is so glorious. Paulina Butte is a peak you can catch a sight of from Big Springs; Cline Falls State Park is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. Summertime highs at Big Springs ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Big Springs night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Big Springs is pretty dry typically. Most of the rain falls throughout May while July is regularly the driest month.
