Hampton is a very popular campground among folks of Westfir. Some folks stay here so they can go to Fall Creek State Park.

 and if you're seeking a delightful spot to go for a camping trip, this is a good choice.
Camping in Oregon is such an enjoyable activity. Near Hampton is a good 4-mile-long run of whitewater on Winberry Creek, a category III+(V), this is the South / North Fork Confluence to Forest Service bridge sector. This sector of Winberry Creek is fitting for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for a while. Check current conditions ahead of going on the whitewater, or else it's not safe. A nice 3.3-mile-from-beginning-to-end lovely backpacking and hiking trail featuring a height variation of 1,327 feet can be found close at hand; this is the Cloverpatch Trail. Cloverpatch
 
Trail requires three and a half hours to backcountry walk; it's a demanding backpacking and hiking trail. 1.8 miles of pretty wilderness hiking trail can be found in the vicinity; this is the Sourgrass Trail with a difference in elevation of 911 feet.
