There is so much cool stuff close to Rocky Ridge, and what a great place for camping it is. The welcoming reception and the exceptionally capably operated facilities are pretty impressive. The good variety of local attractions and such an incredible array of things to do will make you pleased you came.

Rocky Ridge is a perfect campground to use as a base while enjoying the Southern Cascade Range. A lot of folks stay at Rocky Ridge in order to be next to Clyde Holliday State Park. Some activities here at Rocky Ridge are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
 
    When was the last occasion you went for a weekend of camping? Rocky Ridge in Oregon is a great place to go.
There's a pleasant 8-mile-from-start-to-finish class IV(V) whitewater stretch on Jackson Creek nearby, the NF300 to Cover
 Camp section. This stretch of Jackson Creek is a difficult stretch for whitewater boating. Unsurprisingly, whitewater boating is fun but perilous; check current conditions before heading out. Good backcountry backpacking awaits you on the close by Fish Lake Trail; this hiking and backpacking trail has a variation in elevation of 2,685 feet and is 9 miles long. Roughly speaking one and a half days of hard backcountry backpacking on the Fish Lake Trail is time well expended. A nice 2-mile-from-beginning-to-end great outdoors trail featuring a nice 926-foot height difference can be found around here. This is the Black Rock Trail; it's a pretty backcountry hike. The Black Rock Trail is challenging;  
it requires something like two hours to backcountry hike. The 2.9-mile-in-distance Jackson Creek Trail has a difference between top and bottom of 1,219 feet; it is a stunning hiking and backpacking trail.
