This campground is one of the tremendous spots to camp here in the Central Cascade Range.
Some folks pick this campground when they come to visit Mount Hood National Forest. Beginner and intermediate runs make up 60% of the runs at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and difficult ones make up 40%. There is a total of 960 acres of skiable land; Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a fine site to ski. 25 feet of annual white snow covers the nearby ski hill Mt. Hood Ski Bowl featuring its 1,500 feet of vertical drop. 9 different ski lifts serve the 65 runs at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. There are loads of trails at Timberline Lodge that are beginner
 
and intermediate, 80% of them while 20% are advanced and expert. Timberline Lodge is a fine ski mountain with 1,000 acres of skiing territory.
