In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun things.
In case you're seeking a type II whitewater run to run, you're in luck; the Dale to Monument portion is a fine 44-mile-in-length piece of John Day River - North Fork. This run of John Day River - North Fork is a painless run for paddling. Don't go paddling prior to first checking restrictions; it's treacherous stuff. Going for a backcountry trek surpasses anything; the 5-mile-in-length Peep Creek Trail is in the vicinity; it has a variation in altitude of 1,043 feet. Being an average hiking trail, backcountry hiking the Peep Creek Trail calls for roughly four hours. If you enjoy hiking, you will enjoy a nearby great outdoors hiking

trail featuring a wonderful 1,022-foot variation in elevation, 1.9 miles in length. We're chatting about the Bear Camp Trail.
