A magnificent one hour of backcountry backpacking looms for you along the Paulina Peak Trail. A tremendous zoo close to Cinder Hill is High Desert Museum; they have many delightful animals. On a wonderful winter day you could rent a snow mobile at Paulina Tours Snowmobile, and Cinder Hill is not far at all from Bend. This campground has so much. Places like Deschutes National Forest are good to check out; going for a fine fishing trip at Patient Angler Fly Shop is always amusing. On a great day at Cinder
 
Hill you can take a hike along the Paulina Peak Trail. In the event that you crave fishing you may always stop at Garrison's Fishing Guide Service; the vista of Central Pumice Cone is pretty.
