 good 5-mile-long sweep of whitewater on Rock Creek, a type V+, this is the Above Rock Creek Fish Hatchery portion. Donít depend on continuing to be dry whitewater paddling this sweep of Rock Creek. Whitewater rapids are risky matters, so you should check current conditions in advance of a trip. A stunning backpacking trail in the vicinity is Rock Creek Trail; it's 4.6 miles in length and has a difference in elevation of 663 feet. A nice 5.2-mile-long backcountry trail featuring a nice 2,407-foot elevation variation is to be found in close proximity. This is the Williams Creek Trail; it's a stunning walk. Being a difficult backcountry trail, backpacking the Williams Creek Trail requires in  
the region of six hours. There's a fine 3.9-mile-from-beginning-to-end wilderness trail boasting a fine 1,839-foot altitude variation in the vicinity; this gorgeous wilderness trail is the Pass Creek Trail.
