    Peak from Can Springs. Hit the slopes at Warner Canyon close at hand, and a game of bowling is exciting at close by Lakeview Lanes. Lots of fun is at this campground. Don't leave Can Springs without dropping by Washoe Lake State
 Recreation Area, and splendid hiking is available along the Crane Mountain National Recreation Trail. Can Springs is a location with many visitors from Prineville. Goose Lake State Recreation Area is a great place to go if you're at Can Springs, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Second Swale Creek. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Can Springs has it all. Around Can Springs you donít get a lot of precipitation. The wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most while July is frequently the driest month. At Can Springs all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's.  
The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Can Springs temperatures sink to the 20's.
