Brown Lake Dam is a pretty place close to Murphys Meadow; if you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Mc Alester Country Club. The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer. The amount of rain that falls at Murphys Meadow is close to the national average. Throughout May this area sees the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Murphys Meadow through the months of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips   down to the 60's.
