There is a total of 30 ski trails at close by Thunder Ridge; this ski resort gets covered by 8 feet of snow annually. There are 4 different ski lifts at Thunder Ridge, and the height difference is 500 feet. With 20% of the ski trails being difficult, and 80% of the 100 acres of skiable land being easy; there are good ski trails for any ability at Thunder Ridge. The category I-III South Dover NY to Gaylordsville Ct segment of Tenmile is 4.2 miles long. This bit of Tenmile is not a site for learners to come whitewater rafting and kayaking single-handedly.
