Even though there's not that much exciting stuff to do in close proximity to High Rock Canyon, it is one of many wonderful campgrounds in this area. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Nevada.
The snow is nice at Warner Canyon, and Pole Canyon is certainly a great spot to go to. Mahogany Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. High Rock Canyon is a location that is rather dehydrated generally.
