At Bear Canyon entertaining stuff to do is bountiful, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a good place to do that. A lot of folks stay at this campground to be near Lincoln National Forest. The glorious pick of local attractions, and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation are good reasons to come.
There's more to do in the neighborhood of Bear Canyon other than just hanging out such as fishing, playing golf, swimming, and hiking, so
 
    perhaps you want to stick around for a while. It's been too long since you went outside, and Bear Canyon, New Mexico is a good place for getting out. Bear Canyon is a very popular campground among the folks of Sacramento.
Bear
 Canyon is one of the locations to camp here in the Sacramento Mountains.
The friendly staff and all the amusing things to do are reason enough to come here.
Some nearby water includes Bear Creek, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Silver Lake is one of those close by. Yeah, come up here to the Sacramento Mountains for a wonderful time. Don't leave Bear Canyon without first going for a hike along the Osha Trail. For you golfers we recommend nearby Timberon Golf Course; naturally, all our national parks are glorious sites to go to and White Sands National Monument is no exception. In case you're here at Bear Canyon during the winter you may always stop by Triple M Snow Play
 
and rent a snow mobile. Oliver Lee Memorial State Park is a wonderful place to stretch your legs a bit. An attention-grabbing thing to pop by near Bear Canyon is Upper Rio Penasco Site One Dam, and the summit of Denny Hill can be seen from Bear Canyon.
