Restrooms are naturally on hand. The perfect folks who manage this spot and all the pleasant passtime activities beat anything. As if Apache Creek wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. Apache Creek is an old favorite with folks from Aragon.
Apache Creek is a perfect campground to use as a base while enjoying the San Francisco Mountains. Camping in New Mexico is such a fun activity.

    is located in an area with loads of cool things to do, and it is a perfect campground. Can't wait to pitch that tent; Apache Creek in New Mexico is the outdoors at its most excellent.
A lake nearby is Quemado Lake; on a great
 day you can take a hike along the Apache Peak Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Francisco Mountains. Apache Creek is a good place to visit; the Sawmill Camp Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. You certainly must stop by Gila National Forest if you're here at Apache Creek. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Apache Creek called the Leslie Spring Trail; you'll probably meet some people from Aragon here. A great spot near Apache Creek is Squirrel Springs Canyon. Around Apache Creek you donít get a lot of rain. The month with most of the rain is August, and April is when it's the driest.  
Throughout the long summer days at Apache Creek highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Apache Creek dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
