    to go camping; Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Caldwell Fork in North Carolina is a nice location to go. The kind staff and all the amusing things will make you feel good.

Ski down the 10 slopes of Cataloochee; this
 ski mountain has a vertical drop of 740 feet. Cataloochee has 4 different ski lifts and has on average 3 feet of ice cold snow per winter. 25% of the 25 acres of skiing land at Cataloochee consist of advanced and expert slopes. But there are wonderful slopes for kids and learners as well; 75% of the slopes are blue and green. The close by type II-III(IV), 6-mile-from-beginning-to-end Catalooche Campground to Waterville Lake portion of whitewater on Cataloochee Creek is a lot of fun. If you have some whitewater boating familiarity, this bit of Cataloochee Creek could be a good bit for your capability. Whitewater kayaking and rafting can turn risky, so check the situation prior to departure.  
A good spot to visit in the vicinity of Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Caldwell Fork is Double Gap, and go on a journey to Arrowmont Stables & Cabins if you want to ride a horse.
