The vertical drop is 1,800 feet at Lost Trail Powder Mountain. A great spot close to Spring Gulch is Spring Gulch, and Warm Springs Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Hole National Recreation Trail; golf can be played
 
at Stock Farm. This campground is so scenic. A trip to Spring Gulch wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Bitterroot National Forest.
