This campground is one of the magnificent spots to camp here in the Absaroka Range. There's no way to run out of cool stuff to do right next door to Kersey Lake; it is a very good campground.
The pleasant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back many times. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you wonít run out of things to do.
Camping in Montana is such a fun thing to do. Camping out definitely is a great thing to do; Kersey Lake in Montana is a really good location to spend some time. Kersey Lake is a very popular old favorite campground among
 
    residents of Cooke City.
The caring ambiance and all the cool stuff attract folks from far and near. Clarks Fork Yellowstone has a tremendous 3-mile-from-beginning-to-end grade IV whitewater run close by, the Trailhead to State
 line section. In the event that you donít want to risk getting drenched this run of Clarks Fork Yellowstone is probably not for you. Paddling may get perilous, so check current conditions prior to departure. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pilot Creek Trail, and a spree to Natural Bridge State Park is a pleasant idea. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. Sedge Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at; hiking along the North Crandall Trail is pleasant fun. This campground is always a diversion. Going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Kersey Lake  
is a location with many visitors from Cooke City, and Kersey Lake is right by the Crazy Lakes Trail. Take a hike on the Republic Trail.
