There are of course restrooms at this campground, and there are water hookups. The pleasant personnel and the incredibly satisfactorily controlled facilities have people coming from near and far. Several folks stay at McCollum Lake in order to be near Huron National Forest.
With such a great deal of things to do in Michigan you'll never get bored.
The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back repeatedly.
    McCollum Lake is a very popular campground with folks of Curran. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do.
 At McCollum Lake cool stuff to do is bountiful; it's one of those places where everything is pleasant. Huron National Forest is a good location, and McCollum Lake is a spot with many visitors from Curran. Lakes? Sure, Island Lake is close by, and of course, everyone loves Clear Lake State Park. This campground has so incredibly much. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fairview Hills. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Cedar Valley Golf Club is in close proximity. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Back Nine Golf Course. High temperatures at McCollum Lake throughout the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in  
temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at McCollum Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's.
