There's a wonderful 5.5-mile-long class I-II whitewater sweep on Allagash Stream nearby, the Allagash Lake to Chamberlain Lake section. If by chance you wanna get wet, this sweep of Allagash Stream is almost certainly not for you. Whitewater paddling could become treacherous, so check the latest conditions ahead of going. Take a side tour to Snare Brook; you can go for a hike on the Carry Trail. You must go to Russell Cove when you're here at Allagash
 
Waterway - Fred King; Big Squaw is a very popular ski area around here. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer.
