All the great local attractions around here and so much stuff to do will make you happy you came. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, No problem at all; Penobscot River Corridor - East Debsconeag Lake is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Maine.
It's completely out of the question to run out of fun things to do in close proximity to Penobscot
 
    River Corridor - East Debsconeag Lake; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a tremendous spot to do that. As if Penobscot River Corridor - East Debsconeag Lake wasn't sufficient, you can also go playing golf, whitewater
 paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. While popping by this region in Maine it's a tremendous idea to go for a weekend of camping too.
A good 3-mile-from-start-to-finish whitewater section on Nesowadnehunk Stream is nearby. This, the Little Niagara to Penobscot River portion, is a category V. The Little Niagara to Penobscot River portion of Nesowadnehunk Stream is advised for skilled kayak paddlers only. Naturally, whitewater rafting and kayaking is amusing but risky; check conditions before heading out. There is a fine hiking trail close to Penobscot River Corridor - East Debsconeag Lake called the Telephone Trail, and a day
 
on the slopes of Big Squaw is just what you need. Don't leave Penobscot River Corridor - East Debsconeag Lake without first going for a hike along the Cathedral Trail.
