This campground is a fine location for boating. There is so much exciting stuff in close proximity to Penobscot River Corridor - Boomhouse Group, and when you're here you're always having a pleasant time.

    The personnel that runs this campground and scores of entertaining stuff to do beat anything.
A nearby type II whitewater section can be found on Ellis Brook; the Ellis Bog to Chamberlain Lake portion is 1.8 miles long. It's perhaps
 reasonable to go whitewater rafting and kayaking on this section of Ellis Brook even if you believe your whitewater rafting and kayaking abilities aren't very magnificent. Raft paddling may turn hazardous, so check the latest conditions previous to going. A spree to Graveyard Point in close proximity to Penobscot River Corridor - Boomhouse Group is always a perfect idea, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Penobscot River Corridor - Boomhouse Group; Big Spencer Mountain Trail is a nice local trail. Peaks-Kenny State Park is a nice spot, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Telephone Trail. This campground is so glorious. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big  
Squaw. Lily Bay State Park is a good place to stop by, and do take a hike on the Old Telos Tote Road. Caucomgomoc Stream is a picturesque stream that is worth taking a look at.
