If you hold a little bit of kayak paddling skill, this segment of Bear Branch could be a glorious segment for your capability. Whitewater kayaking or rafting could become treacherous, so check the latest conditions ahead of going. Kentucky Dam Village State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Jackson Falls; Shawnee National Forest is a forest that you can go to.
