Gold Creek Access Area is a very well loved campground by the residents of Stanley.
Feeling down from spending too much time indoors, Don't fret; Gold Creek Access Area, Idaho is a great location for getting out. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so possibly you want to stick around for a while.
The workforce that operates this campground and loads of entertaining stuff to do are cause enough to come here. There are so many cool things to do near Gold Creek
 
    Access Area, and to be here is great fun any time.
All the good local attractions close at hand and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back persistently. Idaho has loads of outdoors activities. A number
 of folks stay at this campground in order to be right next door to Challis National Forest.
Nearby there is a great 12-mile-in-distance grade II-III whitewater sweep, the Hellroaring Creek to Redfish Lake Creek segment of Salmon River. You might get soaked whitewater kayaking and rafting this sweep of Salmon River, so you should be prepared for that. Whitewater rapids are treacherous things, so you should check the situation prior to departure. Challis National Forest is both good and pretty, and it's in the neighborhood of Gold Creek Access Area, and why not a little side tour to Cleveland Creek. Gold Creek Access Area is right by the Yellow Belly Trail, and why not head up to Soldier Mountain
 
and strap some skis to your feet. This campground is a gorgeous spot to visit. If you're here at Gold Creek Access Area during the winter you may always stop at Smiley Creek Lodge and rent a snow mobile.
