This campground is one of the good spots to camp here in the Clearwater Mountains. When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Smith Ridge Trailhead in Idaho is the outdoors at its best.

The good local attractions and so much to do are sure to keep you coming back many times. A lot of folks stay at this campground so they can go to St. Joe National Forest. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do near Smith Ridge Trailhead, and it definitely is a great campground.
Smith Ridge Trailhead
 
    is in the neighborhood of Lolo National Forest which is a pretty spot. The Nelson Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; a lake nearby is Steamboat Lake. This is such a magnificent campground. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at
 Lookout Pass, and you beyond doubt should pop by St. Joe National Forest since you're here. There are splendid spots to discover along the Old Montana Trail, and don't leave Smith Ridge Trailhead without first going for a hike along the Dead Mule Trail. Don't forget to take a good little journey to Honey Creek, and tremendous hiking is available along the Shin Point Trail. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Smith Ridge Trailhead. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Smith Ridge Trailhead; Rukgaber Trail is a perfect local trail. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Smith Ridge Trailhead get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours  
it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Smith Ridge Trailhead.
