Little Half Moon Pass is close to Poison Creek and is a great spot, and unsurprisingly Lone Juniper Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. Take a hike on the Oregon Trail - South Alternate. Not much precipitation falls here at Poison Creek. The month with most of the rain is November; July meanwhile is the driest month.
