    is the Blackfoot Dam to Cutthroat Creek Campground sector, a type III whitewater stretch on Blackfoot River, 10 miles long. Overall this stretch of Blackfoot River is an enjoyable spot for kayak paddling. Don't go kayak paddling in
 advance of first checking the situation; it's perilous stuff. In case you have a boat, Whitelock's Marina and RV Park is a tremendous marina, and don't forget to take a fine little visit to Wilson Creek. You can take a little journey to Blackfoot Dam if you're here at Hopkins Landing Access. Oregon Trail Country Club is a delightful golf course close by; in case you are trying to locate a bowling alley nearby, Geyser Bowl is in close proximity to Hopkins Landing Access. Hopkins Landing Access is a location that is rather dry frequently. May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is July. High temperatures at Hopkins Landing Access during the days of summer are in the 80's,  
and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Hopkins Landing Access all through the winter typically plunge into the 0's.
