Cottonwood is a spot with many visitors from Ellis, and Cottonwood is right by the Twin Buttes Trail. This campground is so striking. Salmon National Forest is worth visiting if you're at Cottonwood; Challis Golf Course is a nice golf course close by. A game of bowling is fun at close by Challis Lanes, and a cool spot to have a look at is Eagle Rock. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Cottonwood. It is very waterless here at Cottonwood commonly. The wettest month of the year is typically May, that's  
the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the months of summer highs here at Cottonwood get into the 80's.
