A day on the slopes of Sun Valley is just what you need, and Jimmy Smith Trailhead is not far at all from Clayton. A wonderful lake like Bayhorse Lake next to Jimmy Smith Trailhead is a great spot to take a look at. Jimmy Smith Creek is a striking stream that is worth checking out. Yankee Fork State Park is worth a visit if you're at Jimmy Smith Trailhead. Jimmy Smith Trailhead gets very little rain.
