Whitewater rapids are hazardous phenomenons, so you must check current conditions prior to departure. Challis National Forest is a pleasant site to go if you're at Dagger Falls, and close by you find the Blue Bunch Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Go for a hike on the Camptender
 
Trail, unsurprisingly you could also visit Josephus Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This campground is always a diversion.
