Big Bar is one of the sites to camp here in the Wallowa Mountains. The kind staff and the huge amount
 of cool things to do beat anything.
On Snake River nearby you locate the 71.5-mile-in-length Hells Canyon Dam to Washington Border portion of category II-IV whitewater. The Hells Canyon Dam to Washington Border portion of Snake River is recommended for paddlers of medium knowledge. Don't go whitewater kayaking and rafting ahead of first checking current conditions; it's dangerous matter. A stunning backcountry hiking trail close at hand, 4.7 miles in distance, having a difference between top and bottom of 3,050 feet is Summit Creek Trail.
