So many enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Sandy Bottoms, and many people like to come here to escape. Sandy Bottoms is a great campground to use as a base while enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains. Loads of people camp here all through their trip to Moccasin Creek State Park. | | so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Spending too much time indoors got you down, Don't worry; Sandy Bottoms is a good local campground if you happen to be in Georgia. Nearby you encounter the Tate Branch Campground to Coleman River section, a grade V bit of whitewater. It's a good 3-mile-from-start-to-finish bit on Tallulah River. You are likely to get soaked whitewater rafting or kayaking this bit of Tallulah River, so you should be prepared for that. Check circumstances ahead of going on the whitewater, or else it's not safe. If by chance you want to take a ride on a horse Running Fox Farms is close at hand. Bottoms is glorious, and a delightful spot to have a look at is Diggins Gap. This campground is so great. Waterfall Country Club is a great golf course close by, and why not take a little journey to Mill Creek if you're here.
