The nice folks of Montrose like to hang out close by; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Twin Spring Trail. A lovely lake like Miramonte Reservoir right next door to Lone Cone State Wildlife Area is a nice location to have a look at. If the weather is splendid here at Lone Cone State Wildlife Area, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Peak Trail. Mesa Verde National Park is a good spot near Lone Cone State Wildlife Area. Lone Cone State Wildlife Area is a location that is pretty dry frequently.
