Naturally, whitewater boating is cool but treacherous; check circumstances in advance of a trip. 954 feet of difference in altitude and 3.4 miles of backcountry hiking is what you get at Sherwin Lakes Trail, a beautiful hiking trail close by. The Sherwin Lakes Trail is an average difficulty hiking trail; it calls for roughly three hours to backcountry hike. A great backcountry hiking trail boasting a height difference of 1,224 feet, and 2.8 miles  
from beginning to end, is to be found in the vicinity. This wonderful backcountry hiking trail is the Mammoth Rock Trail.
