The magnificent folks who manage this spot and the fine facilities makes the journey here worthwhile. Lots of people stay here in order to be close to Klamath National Forest.
If you are in California during camping season, you must go camping. As if Kelsey Creek Trailhead wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so possibly you want to stay a bit.
Kelsey Creek Trailhead is an old favorite with people of Scott Bar. Such a wonderful selection of attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come.

    to camp here in the Klamath Mountains. It's just not possible to run out of cool things to do next to Kelsey Creek Trailhead; it is a magnificent escape from the mundane.
The Canyon Entrance Close to Meamber Creek to Klamath Confluence
 section has a distance of 22 miles; you come across this section of whitewater on Scott River. It's a type II-V section. In case you are a learner, you should almost certainly seek a different section of whitewater to run than this section of Scott River. Don't fail to remember to check circumstances ahead of going whitewater boating to ensure your safety. Kelsey Creek flows through this region. Near Kelsey Creek Trailhead you hit upon the Boundary National Recreation Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and Bridge Flat is right here at Kelsey Creek Trailhead. This campground is so splendid. Here at Kelsey Creek Trailhead there are plenty of people from Scott Bar, and you'll find  
a scenic lake called Scott Bar Pond. If the weather is splendid here at Kelsey Creek Trailhead, you can go for a hike along the Tanners Peak Trail.
