This close by ski hill has a vertical drop of 3,500 feet and has 31 different ski lifts. The Hangman's Bridge to CA-NV border sector on Carson River - East Fork is a close by category II whitewater bit, 20 miles in length. This bit of Carson River - East Fork is an easy bit for paddling. Check the situation before you go on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe. Burnside Lake Trail is 3.4 miles in length. This beautiful trail has a difference in elevation of 2,762 feet. In case you wish for a demanding  
backcountry hike, Burnside Lake Trail calls for approximately five hours to backcountry hike. Charity Valley Trail has a variation in height of 2,275 feet; this picturesque hiking trail is 4.
