Some of the things you can do here at Shriner Lake are hiking, fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
Ski down the
 67 ski slopes of Bear Valley; this ski mountain has an altitude difference of 1,900 feet. Bear Valley has 11 great ski lifts and gets covered by on average 30 feet of ice cold snow per season. The 1,280 acres of skiable area at Bear Valley is liked by skiers from all over. Bear Valley has 35% tough ski slopes and 65% easy ski slopes. A fine 1.2-mile-long backcountry hiking trail having a fine 463-foot variation in elevation can be found close at hand. This is the Emigrant Trail; it's a pretty walk. You should schedule one hour to walk the Emigrant Trail. You're sure to stumble upon some great folks from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge here. Head out on the pretty water at Bear River Lake Resort;  
Eldorado National Forest is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer.
