Skiers from far and near like Mammoth Mountain. 35% of the trails at Mammoth Mountain are tough, and 65% are green and blue; there is a total of 3,500 acres of skiable terrain. June Mountain is prized by skiers; it has 80% green and blue ski runs and 20% demanding ski runs. A total of 500 acres of skiing area in all. 21 feet of wonderful snow fall per season on the 2,580-foot vertical drop of June Mountain, the nearby ski resort. June Mountain
 
has 37 ski runs and 7 lifts. The Devils Postpile Nat'l Monument to Mammoth Pool Reservoir segment, a whitewater sweep on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork is 32.
