You must check current conditions before you go; whitewater rafting or kayaking can turn hazardous. Nearby lakes? Sure, Little Bear Creek Reservoir is near Sipsey River. Visit Borden Creek while you're here at Sipsey River, and if you're visiting from Houston, you won't be the only one. This campground is a pretty place to stop by. A glorious place near Sipsey River is Braziel Canyon, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Borden Creek Trail. The lovely marina of Duncan Bridge Marina is a splendid location to leave dry land behind. Take a hike on the Braziel Creek Trail, and Deer
