If the weather is nice here at Chanslor Ranch, you can go for a hike along the Monte Rio Fire Trail, and Little Sulphur Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This campground is so magnificent. Going for a hike on the Bucklin Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the destinations that are magnificent to check out nearby. | |

Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Coast Ranges is so good! The Tomales Point Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Chanslor Ranch; a tour to Austin Creek State Park rejuvenates the soul. Chanslor Ranch is a campground that is enormously esteemed
by the people from Bodega Bay.
And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. You can spot Coleman Hill from Chanslor Ranch, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mark West Creek. Yep,
outdoors exciting things to do are really plentiful here at Chanslor Ranch. Take a little spree to Salmon Creek if you're here at Chanslor Ranch; you can hit the beach if you want, South Salmon Creek Beach is practically right here. A campground like this is too magnificent to
miss. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Chanslor Ranch called the Jepson Trail; Alice Rock is a pleasant site to check out while in the region.
Chanslor Ranch gets a lot of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when
it's the driest. Several people stay here to go to nearby South Salmon Creek Beach. Pack your camping stuff and leave the city behind; Chanslor Ranch in California is the outdoors at its best.
As if Chanslor Ranch wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, fishing,
hiking, swimming, and playing golf, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. The friendly surroundings and the beauty of the place have folks coming here.
Enjoy a round of golf at Bodega Harbour Golf Links not far from Chanslor Ranch, and you can always enjoy a
lazy day on the beach at North Salmon Creek Beach. This is a magnificent campground. Chanslor Ranch is in close proximity to Johnson Gulch which is without doubt worth going to. During the summer months highs here at Chanslor Ranch get into the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's.
For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Chanslor Ranch temperatures dip to the 40's.
