| | Through the summer months highs here at Rivermen Whitewater get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Rivermen Whitewater nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. What a site this is for outdoors folks. People from Fayetteville love to come to Rivermen Whitewater, and if you've had enough of Rivermen Whitewater, Hawk Lake is close by.

If you haven’t been to Gauley River National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and a spree to Long Point is always a nice idea. This is such a charming campground. Near Rivermen Whitewater you stumble on the Way Back Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and stunning scenery and delightful skiing is what you obtain at Winterplace.

Whitewater called the Carnifex Trail; a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek - New River Tributary. Some of the things you can do here at Rivermen Whitewater are playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so it's just not possible to get
bored. Rivermen Whitewater gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
This campground is always a delight. Take a side trip to House Branch, and Babcock State Park is a pleasant site to
go. All our national parks are magnificent places to explore, and Bluestone National Scenic River is no exception; a trip to Hawks Nest State Park revitalizes the soul. Scores of folks select Rivermen Whitewater in order to be right next door to Hawks Nest State Park.
So many
enjoyable things close to Rivermen Whitewater, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a different person. How long has it been since you went camping for a couple of days? Rivermen Whitewater is a great local campground if you happen to be in West Virginia.
A round of golf at nearby Bridge Haven Golf Club is a great way to kill some time; you can run the rapids of New River.
