The 45 ski slopes at Mad River Glen are all perfect; the elevation difference is 2,037 feet at this ski mountain. Mad River Glen boasts 19 feet of snow every winter and has 4 different ski lifts to move all the skiers up the hill. There are 115 runs to choose from and 17 lifts at the nearby ski resort Sugarbush. Sugarbush gets covered by on average 22 feet of great snow per season and
 
has a wonderful 2,650-foot drop. Skiers from all over love Sugarbush. 43% of the runs at Sugarbush are hard, and 57% are green and blue; there is a total of 468 acres of skiing area.
