At this campground you will always have a pleasant time. A golf course next to Camp OutBack is Caverns Country Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shenandoah River - South Fork. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a good time. On a glorious day at Camp OutBack you can take a hike along the Massanutten
 
Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Passage Creek offers some brilliant whitewater.
There's so much stuff to do at Camp OutBack including swimming, whitewater paddling, playing golf, fishing, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Virginia is a glorious place for outdoors folks. If the weather is splendid here at Camp OutBack, you can go for a hike along the Lions Tale Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Shenandoah River - South Fork.
Having a glorious time at Camp OutBack is trouble-free. East Hawksbill Creek is a great place to check out, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Keyser Path.
This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The delightful variety of local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back time and again. For the period of the days of summer here at Camp OutBack, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Camp OutBack.
Camp OutBack is close to Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park which is a pretty place; Bryce Resort is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Can't wait to set up that camp site; Camp OutBack in Virginia is exactly the place.
From a rainfall point of view Camp OutBack is a pretty common spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest.
