| | At Ledge Water you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here; December meanwhile is the driest month. Visit Dry Creek if you're here at Ledge Water; Meridian Mountain is clearly visible from Ledge Water. While you're here at Ledge Water you will meet lots of folks from close by Camp Wood, and Pletcher Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out.
This is such a great campground. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Hackberry Creek - Nueces River, and going to Kickapoo Cavern State Park is a great thing to do. So many entertaining |
things close to Ledge Water, and when you're here you're always having a splendid time.
The folks who watch over the campground and the very well controlled facilities beat anything.
Summertime at Ledge Water arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. During the moonlight
| hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Ledge Water are in the 30's. Camping out sure is a great thing to do, and Ledge Water in Texas is such a splendid site. If you come at the right time of year, Nueces River offers some great whitewater; a visit to Garner State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
A visit to Texas is not complete without some camping. Ledge Water is prized by the residents of Camp Wood.
